In this data visualization project, I leveraged Tableau to analyze and showcase patterns and trends in video game sales. Utilizing a comprehensive dataset, the visualizations provided deep insights into various aspects of the gaming industry.

  • The Trend for Global Sales Per Year: This visualization revealed the ebb and flow of global video game sales over the years, offering a clear picture of the industry's growth phases and potential market shifts.

  • Global Sales Per Genre of Video Games: By breaking down global sales figures by genre, this visualization highlighted consumer preferences and the most lucrative game genres on a global scale.

  • Comparing Global Sales Revenue without EU Sales: This intriguing visualization showcased the impact of the European market on global video game sales. By excluding EU sales, it offered a fresh perspective on the sales dynamics and the significance of the European market in the gaming industry.

  • Video Game Sales by Genre in North America Per Year: Focusing on the North American market, this visualization depicted the annual sales of video games by genre, indicating the changing tastes of North American consumers over time.

  3. Content Growth Over the Years: Netflix's content library has witnessed consistent growth. Tracking this expansion provides insights into the platform's dedication to keeping its offerings fresh and diverse.

  4. Genres That Resonate: A deep dive into popular genres unveils which categories captivate Netflix's global audience, offering valuable insights into viewer trends.

  5. Understanding Ratings: With a diverse audience, Netflix offers a spectrum of content ratings. The breakdown by rating clarifies the range and maturity of the platform's content.

  6. Interactive Exploration of TV Shows and Movies: The dashboard is designed for engagement. Upon selecting a movie or show title, users are presented with details like a general description, release year, duration, rating, and genre, offering a comprehensive overview of each title.

Airbnb, as a major disruptor in the hospitality industry, has a dynamic pricing model influenced by various factors. In this Tableau project, I've explored on Seattle's Airbnb market, dissecting the nuances of pricing based on different property characteristics.

  1. Pricing by Zip Code: Seattle's diverse neighborhoods have their own market dynamics. This project offers a comprehensive view of Airbnb prices per zip code, allowing a direct comparison of which areas command premium rates and which offer more budget-friendly options.

  2. Average Price Analysis: Delving deeper into the specifics, the dashboard visualizes the average price of Airbnb listings based on their zip code. This gives both hosts and guests a clear picture of the expected rates in different parts of the city.

  3. Yearly Revenue Insights: Beyond just nightly prices, the potential revenue generation of listings is crucial for hosts. The project showcases estimated yearly revenue figures, offering a perspective on the profitability of hosting in Seattle.

  4. Price Dynamics by Property Features:

    • Bed Type: Whether it's a couch, airbed, futon, or pull-out, the type of bed available in a listing can significantly influence its price. This visualization breaks down average prices by bed type, providing clarity on how different accommodations are valued.
